The Dinner Party, from the Best of the 48 Hour Film Project DC

Hooray! Finally - here is the film that my improv troupe, JINX, contributed to the 48-Hour Film Fest, under the name River Run Films (don't ask - our director, Sean, was feeling misty or Irish or something when he named us).



It's too dark, and the sound's a bit off in places, but I am so proud of the storytelling, and of my fellow JINXers - Sean was a terrific director (very collaborative, but decisive when necessary, and always calm), and Greg, Aparna and Jordan just cracked me up. It was our first time being at the helm of a film project (we've acted in other people's stuff, but never driven the story or been in charge of the whole production), and we made it into the "Best of" screening, so we were pumped.
