Hey, that’s me! In the picture at left, I’m rehearsing DC’s Neutrino Video Project with cast-mate Colin Murchie. In this scene, I’m standing in front of Manny & Olga’s, calling in sick in order to sabotage my boss’ plans to vacation in Africa with his lady love. The visual joke is me saying I’m in a hospital bed with pneumonia while behind me, people stream by eating jumbo slices. What’s that? Do I hear Judd Apatow calling?
But, to get to the point — the picture, taken by local photographer and friend Katie Jett Walls (aka Red Turtle Photography), was featured in today’s Express, as part of a very favorable Neutrino review:
“The Neutrino Video Project gives improvisation a digital facelift with a video twist. The show follows three teams, each with two actors, a runner and a cameraman. The teams use suggestions from the audience as inspiration before venturing outside to record a short movie that will be viewed by that same audience only minutes after it has been filmed.”

It’s a banner day, because Neutrino is also featured in “The List” from the Washington Examiner (not yet available online – but trust me, it’s there). (Correction: The List is up!)
You still have a couple weekends left to see this awesome show! Click here to buy tix online.
UPDATE Aug. 14: The Washington Post Weekend adds to Neutrino’s good press. Happy times :)
