Two – count ‘em, two! – of my friends are featured in a new anthology of fiction by DC women: Molly Woods Murchie, a fellow performer at Washington Improv Theater, and Laura Zam, who taught my solo performance class last year. I’m so happy for them, and so bummed that I missed last night’s launch party at Politics and Prose – apparently over 200 people turned out for it!
The anthology, titled Gravity Dancers: Even More Fiction by Washington Area Women, is published by Paycock Press (they also publish Gargoyle, the local literary mag). You can buy it on Amazon, or – any day now – from the publisher’s site itself.

Laura and I sat right next to each other! I wish I would have known we had a friend in common so I could have…mutely mimed that we both know you?
Congrats, Molly! I saw something on facebook that didn’t register fully – so didn’t realize this had your work in it. Now I want one. I will seek autograph. Just warning you.
