A Tour of My Workspace

by Amanda on June 5, 2009

Sorry for the continued radio silence – I was away for a little over a week, and found that the last thing I felt like doing while immersed in mother nature was connect electronically. And I returned, of course, to lots o’ work, so I’ve been slow getting back into my “blog rhythm.” But here I am, and today, I thought I’d try something a little different – namely, a video (shot on my shiny new toy, aka FlipCam) in which I show you my workspace…all the bits and bobs I keep around to inspire me. Keywords include: nature, Allen Ginsberg, and cake. Enjoy!

Thankyou for the tour! I loved hearing the stories and reasons for everything in the room. Even more, I loved that there was nothing there that was not there for a reason. I have this dream of some day looking around my house, or even one room of it, and knowing everything I see has a reason/purpose for being there.

Love the Ginsburg photo. Super cool. And the bear/photo from Utah. I’m a Utah native, so I’m glad my state gives you just as much inspiration as it gives me. I love home! Thanks for the tour.

Thank you both – I was a bit nervous about posting it, wasn’t sure if anyone would be interested… you’ve reassured me :)
