Ready, Set…Journey to the End of the Night

Play-time for grown-ups, in the streets of DC

Check out Journey to the End of the Night DC, a cool event happening this weekend right here in our own fair city:

Journey to the End of the Night is a race through the streets of DC. You will try to make it to six checkpoints as fast as you can, while avoiding being caught by chasers. Those who survive will be praised and feted at the end. Those who fall will become chasers themselves, rising to pursue their former friends and allies.

“Journey…” was designed by a group called SFO, which aims to inspire participants to interact with the people around them in new ways (at least, I think this is the goal – the website isn’t crystal clear, but hey, that’s part of the fun). It’s already taken place in cities around the globe, from London to Chicago. Now it’s our turn.

The race begins on Saturday, May 2, at 7:30 PM at Dupont Circle. Register here.

Thanks to the Greater Greater Washington blog for bringing this event to my attention.
