Lunafest DC: Celebrating Women Filmmakers, Raising Money for Two Good Causes

Lunafest

Tranquil Space Foundation (TSF), a local nonprofit for which I volunteer, is hosting Lunafest DC on April 23 from 7-9pm. Lunafest (which is sponsored by Luna Bar) is a one-night festival showcasing short films by, for and about women. It’s a great project: a local non-profit (in this case, TSF) applies to host a Lunafest in their community, and then all proceeds go to that non-profit and the Breast Cancer Fund, which works to eliminate the environmental causes of breast cancer.
