If you’re interested in meeting a wide range of other creative people in the DC area, I highly recommend you get involved with the Creatives DC community founded by local creativity evangelists Phillipa Hughes and Neil Takemoto (their project: Creatives DC; this blog: Creative DC — yes, it’s confusing!). They throw a monthly happy hour to encourage real-world meeting and greeting, and the next one is coming up next Tuesday, March 31 at the space-that-will-soon-be-Eatonville (a new restaurant at 14th and V, from the owners of Busboys and Poets).
