Hol-ga! Hol-ga!

by Amanda on June 26, 2006

I could stare at this photo for hours. It was taken with a Holga camera by my friend Kate. She explains that it’s a triple exposure: “one exposure from the Hirshhorn Sculpture garden…overlaid with two shots from [other] gardens nearby.”

Are you a Holga photographer? Send me links to your favorite Holga shots of DC and I’ll get a list going…

me! me! i’m a holga photographer! you can check them out as i make them on my blog (click my name), and also on my artdc.org gallery here: http://artdc.org/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=3

my current project focuses on making images specifically of the dc metro area, so all of these photos are in and around town.

My sweetie bought me a Holga for my b-day, but I still need to develop the first roll of Supercade film. In the meantime, I’ve set up an account at lomography.com here. Though I probably shouldn’t out those pics as e-lomo….Eventually I’ll scan the pics and post them there and on my Flickr account.
